Each month you will receive a variety assortment of Berkshire Pork products (approximately 20 lbs.) produced by Becker Lane Organic at a fee of $1,080 plus monthly shipping and handling. This is a savings of $240 over paying monthly. The shipment will include items from each category: something to braise, something to grill, and something to roast. Additionally, you will also receive sausages with each shipment. You pay up front for 6 months of pork (shipping is still charged monthly to ensure you receive the best rates). By paying for 6 months up front, you guarantee the farmer the capital he needs to bring his animals from pasture to market. In return, you receive a great savings compared to paying monthly and in comparison to a traditional retail store.
